A talented duo of Fort Collins natives Brian Collins and Sean Waters, the Seers create harmony-laden acoustic soul, electric blues, and classic piano rock.  Pianist and drummer Brian Collins, already becoming a local music legend at the age of thirty-two, has been blind from birth and started writing songs at the age of six. Sean Waters, thirty, began playing music with Brian in high school.   Their first band together, Wasabi, was voted “Best Jam Band” by Denver’s Westword (2007) and “Best Jam Band” by the Fort Collins Musicians Association (2007 and 2008).

In 2009, at the beginning of Wasabi’s three year hiatus, Collins and Waters founded the Seers to experiment with stripped-down arrangements, singing, and songwriting. In 2010, they self-produced a lof-fi stream-of-consciousness EP, “Universal Tree.” In 2011, after getting 2nd place in the 2010 Scene Magazine Battle of the Bands, the Seers recorded and released “Hydra,” an electric guitar driven rock EP.  Their first full-length album, now in production at Stout Studios, is due spring 2013.  A repertoire-request-list of more than 400 covers and 80 originals are gets Front Range audiences smiling, swaying, and signing.   After a busy 2012, with a full length album and music videos in production, and with a full Spring schedule (see calendar to the right) the Seers are poised to make the spring and summer of 2013 their biggest yet.
